Okay, maybe not quite, but when it comes to chainmail armor, riveted aluminum will give you the best combination of strength and weight at the best price. The chainmail hauberk is one of the oldest and longest-lasting forms of armor for good reason, its flexibility and coverage are unmatched by plate armor. This hauberk can be worn by itself, over a gambeson, or under plate armor.
We have designed this 10mm flat washer, round-ring chainmail hauberk with full sleeves and a rider's slit to maximize mobility and reduce weight for all-day wear. The sleeves are also graduated so as not to leave excess material hindering movement and adding weight. Note that these sleeves are designed to "ride up" a bit when fighting and should be allowed to move. If worn with bracers, they should be worn above the wrist strap to allow for movement.

*Notice: While it is much lighter than steel, aluminum chain mail is not as strong and does not provide real protective value. Our coat is as durable as they come, but all mail, even steel will lose some rings from time to time.

Shipping
- Most standard domestic packages ship via USPS Priority Mail with an estimated ship time of 1-3 days.

Please Note: Once your order leaves the Fell & Fair workshop, it is in the hands of the shipping carrier. While most shipments arrive smoothly, please be aware that all shipping can sometimes involve delays, customs holds, or even lost packages. We cannot be responsible for these carrier-related issues once your order has shipped.
Order Cancellation
If you need to cancel an order, please contact us within 12 hours of placing it. Once an order is in production or has shipped, we are unable to cancel it.

If you have received the wrong item or your item(s) appears to be damaged, please contact us immediately at contact@fellandfair.com or by starting a chat with us!
To initiate the exchange process, you must contact us within fourteen (14) calendar days of the arrival of your order and item(s) must be in original (unused/unworn) condition to qualify. If your exchange has been approved, your returned item(s) must arrive at the Fell & Fair Shop within thirty (30) calendar days from the date of approval in original (unused/unworn) condition.

Best thing they sell as whole only chainmail I will recommend. Light and will not way you down and worth the price and the craftsmanship. Reasonably priced and got here fast also would recommend making some videos more about this product as I think it's a sleeper product people are not aware about as whole in the larp community.
This chainmail hauberk is a perfect fit for my medieval knight kit. The quality is fantastic and the fact that it is aluminum makes it much easier to wear for the long event weekends. I have had through multiple events now and it is still holding up great!

An absolute quality piece of reenactment and LARP wargear. Riveted maile is so essential for authenticity, and the hauberk from Fell & Fair exceeds the expectations. Darkened on one side, you can reverse it for a cleaner look, but the dark, battle-worn look is too good to pass up! An investment WELL worth the cost!
This chainmail is phenomenal. The aluminum keeps it light, while also looking amazing-- especially in the sunlight! Easy to layer things over it and flexible enough for the thick of battle!
